Green Gardening

Though gardens are good for the environment and integrate the wider landscape to an extent. We believe as a business that we need to the extra step and swap out garden machinery from fossil fuels to batteries.

Since 2019, we’ve been starting our collection of battery machinery, to the point now that our everyday machines (hedge cutters, mowers, leaf blowers and some others) are battery opperated.

Being Green as Grass

In this time, we have saved over 600 litres of fuel, estimated to be over 1,386 kilograms of carbon saved from entering the atmosphere (this is not including two-stroke fuel).

Though not all machines are battery based that we use due to the battery counterpart is either not in existence, not powerful enough just yet or cost for amount of use (rotators, scarifiers, aerators, so on).

— No Carbon Please

From the days of studying, we’ve been taught about various garden practices and keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum.

To this day, we endeavour to source plants from UK-grown nurseries as possible, use garden products that are both ethical and eco-friendly suppliers, choose plants that require less watering (right plant right place, remove the strain from our pressure water sources, use as little chemicals in the gardens and use organic methods where possible and more.

— Garden Practises

We ever to evolve with the times, as battery gets cheaper and better, we will be purchasing and using more.

We wish to buy fleets of vehicles that are either battery or more economical for less carbon that could be released.
